Debit Cards For Members Age 12 & Over

CBCCU is pleased to take a proactive approach to teaching our young members about the responsibilities of using financial services – with the help of parents.

“Teaching Financial Responsibility to Our Youth” is an initiative at CBCCU for 2015 and beyond, and our commitment to help our young members understand financial services and how they work. In addition to our Zoogles Savings Club, and services offered to teens and college students, we are now introducing the Debit Card Program to members age 12 and over.

Checking accounts will be available to members age 12 and over, with a low limit balance available through the usage of their debit card. It’s the perfect age to teach them to spend within their limits, how to use a debit card, track their spending habits, and how to balance their accounts through today’s technology of e-statements and online banking.

A parent or legal guardian will need to be joint on the account and services, and we will work with you to help teach your child every step of the way….starting with one-on-one consultation when the account is opened.

Help us help your child realize financial responsibility. Open a 12+ youth checking account and debit card today!
